This easy recipe makes for a quick, yummy, nutritious snack!

Easy Nutritious Dark Chocolate Chip Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened organic applesauce
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp organic cinnamon
  • 2 cups organic, non-GMO rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup organic dark chocolate chips (can substitute or add 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Celsius
  • Mash bananas in a bowl then mix in remaining wet ingredients
  • Add in remaining dry ingredients and mix well
  • Scoop onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes
  • Transfer cookies onto cooling rack
  • Once cooled, store cookies in a sealed container in refrigerator or freezer
