I started drinking this smoothie as a post workout protein shake, but it quickly became my go to smoothie for busy mornings. With 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 cats and a dog all buzzing around in the morning things can get hectic. I would love to have a sit down breakfast every day, but some days there just isn’t enough time.
So here is what I make to bring with me in the car on the way to school drop off and work.
Good Morning Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 medium banana
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tbsp powdered peanut butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 scoop chocolate vegan protein powder
I simply blend up all of the ingredients, put it in a resealable container and off I go!!
