Gut Healing Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk
- 1/2 cup raw Kale
- 1/2 medium frozen banana
- 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 tbsp mashed avocado
- 1/4 tsp probiotic powder
Directions
- Add water to desired consistency
- Blend in a blender and enjoy!

Kale is low calorie and high in fiber. It is packed with so many nutrients and vitamins including Vitamin K, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Folate and Magnesium.
Avocados (my fav!) are high in Potassium, Vitamin E and monounsaturated fat.
Anthocyanins are responsible for the colour of the blueberries as well as contribute to the numerous health benefits of consuming them. Anthocyanins act as antioxidants and fight free radicals. They may also offer some anti-inflammatory benefits.
