No cooking skill is required! All you need is to mix all the ingredients in a container with a lid and set it in the refrigerator the night before. In the morning, you will be surprised by this crunchy and delicious breakfast (or snack) which will keep you full longer. Oats and chia seeds are specialized dietary fibres which our body cannot digest but our gut bacteria love to eat.
“Happy Gut = Happy Me” Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- Steel cut oats, 1/2 cup
- Almond milk, 1 cup
- Chia seeds, 2 tea spoons
- Goji berries, 1 table spoon
- Cinnamon powder, 1/4 tea spoon
- Cacao powder, 1/2 tea spoon
- Vanilla extract (optional)
- Stevia to taste
Directions
- Mix the ingredients except vanilla extract and almond milk in a container.
- Pour almond milk and add vanilla extract.
- Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap and set it in the refrigerator overnight or at least 6 hours and ENJOY!
