Homemade Granola

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of quick large oats
  • 1 handful of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 handful of sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup, or more of any nuts crushed into small pieces (I usually use pecans)
  • ½ cup dry cranberry (or any other dry fruit you like)
  • ½ – ¾ cup maple syrup
  • ½ – ¾ cup peanut butter (or any other nut butter you like)

Directions

  • Mix all well
  • Lay a piece of parchment paper on an oven tray
  • Then pour the granola mixture on the tray and spread it in a single layer
  • Bake in the oven at 350 F for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown
  • Stir it halfway through
  • Take the granola from the oven and allow it to cool for 5 to 10 minutes
  • You can also have it with milk for breakfast in the morning, yogurt, or as a small treat with a cup of tea, guilt free
