Once again, morning has arrived. You’ve had a good night’s sleep and you’re looking forward to a productive day. So many goals to achieve today.
You get changed, have a glass of water and you’re off to the gym.
You have a fabulous workout, achieving fitness goals, and feeling good.
After a productive workout it is important to refuel, to keep the day’s momentum going.
Here is a smoothie that will do just the trick. Refueling and giving you energy, at the same time filling you up, and sticking with you. This smoothie is delicious and will nourish at the same time.
Post-Workout Super Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 banana, organic
- Handful of spinach, organic
- 2 kale leaves, organic
- Handful of baby carrots, organic
- 1/2 c frozen strawberries or blueberries
- 1 scoop vegan protein powder Vanilla
- 2 tbsp ground flax
- 2 tsp spirulina
- 1 tbsp maca
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp vitamin C powder
- 1/2 tsp tumeric
- 1 cup almond or coconut milk, unsweetened add more if you find the smoothie too thick
Directions
- Place all ingredients in blender, blend until smooth. Pour into a glass.
