Raw Apricot and Dates Jam

The good thing about this jam is its benefits. Dates are an excellent source of energy. Dried apricots provide beta carotene which stimulates the immune system and both are an excellent source of fibre. Plus, blackstrap molasses contains a lot of essential minerals, especially Iron.

Raw Apricot and Dates Jam

Ingredients

  • 7 apricots dehydrated (seedless)
  • 7 dried dates (seedless)
  • 1 teaspoon blackstrap molasses
  • 1 cup lukewarm water

Instructions

  • Soak the dates and the apricots in lukewarm water for 1 hour.
  • In a blender put the dates, the apricots, the molasses, and half the soaked water.
  • Blend at medium speed and slowly add the rest of the soaked water until smooth.
  • Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator in a glass container.
