This traditional Salmon marinade recipe actually came from my husband. This Salmon is so moist and delicious!
Homemade Healthier Soya Sauce
Recipe
- 2 cups of beef/pork broth
- 1 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp black-strap molasses(a rich mineral nutrient)
- 1 tsp of crushed garlic
- 1/4 tsp of sea salt
Mix all the ingredients in a small pot and bring to a simmer 8-10 minutes on the stove. Let cool and store in the fridge and use in place of soya sauce.
Salmon Seasoning
(For a Whole Salmon or 4 Fillets)
Recipe

- 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
- 4 Tbsp of freshly squeezed lemon
- 2 Tbsp Olive oil
- 3 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 Tbsp of fresh crushed ginger.
Prepare the marinade for the Salmon up to 4 hours ahead. (Use a marinating container) or plastic bag of your choice.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F
Place Salmon in a glass baking dish along with the marinade sauce… Bake for 20-25 min (Baking will vary pending on how thick your salmon is. As it bakes the marinade will caramelize and the edges of the salmon will look crispy and the salmon will be tender.
“This baked salmon comes out beautifully.” You will be happy with the results, and so will your family and friends. It’s one of my favorite delicious-tasting salmon dishes. (serve with a side salad) or asparagus may be the most common vegetable to add..
