This shake is a delightfully decadent twist on a milkshake. It’s vegan, loaded with beneficial plant based dietary fat and it’s delicious.
Salted Caramel Shake
Ingredients
- 4 medjool dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup full fat coconut milk
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cashew milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 cup ice
Method
- In a high speed blender, blend everything but the ice until smooth
- Add ice and blend again to reach desired consistency
Serve to an unsuspecting friend, who will be shocked to discover this naturally sweetened shake is vegan
