I love chia! Especially on busy weekday mornings when you’re trying to get some fuel for the day.
The night before soak the chia seeds and oats in almond milk along with the mashed banana. The chia seeds will absorb the milk and the oats soften. Place it in the fridge at night and voila the next morning you have a creamy bowl of oats. I add seasonal fruits to mine so it’s always different. Feel free to change it up to your liking.
Simple Overnight Chia Oats
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups almond milk
- 1 large banana, mashed
- 1/2 teaspoon ceylon cinnamon
To Serve
(Optional)
- Fresh mixed berries or any other in season fruit
- Granola clusters
- Hemp seeds
- Pure maple syrup
