I am probably like many people out there. I struggled with my weight for many years and even though I have a very healthy diet now, I still get a sweet tooth every now and then. That is why I love this recipe so much!! It has only four ingredients, so it is easy snacking with very little guilt.
If you are looking for an even healthier approach, or are against chocolate, you can easily swap out the chocolate chips for raisins or nuts.
It is best to use very ripe bananas. If you are using frozen, leave the bananas in a bowl for about 30 mins so they have time to defrost. Peel your bananas and then use a fork to mash them up. Once you are happy with the consistency add the oatmeal, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. Mix all the ingredients together, scoop onto an un-greased baking pan, and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes.
