I love fall. I love having a warming, spicy, and cozy drink that goes perfectly with the falling leaves. This carrot cake smoothie is just that. Simple, sweet, spicy and colourful.
Vegan Carrot Cake Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup organic carrot juice
- ½ cup non-dairy milk
- 1 organic banana
- 1 pitted medjool date (if it’s a bit dry, soak it in water for 10 minutes)
- 1 teaspoon maca powder
- Freshly grated ginger*
- Cinnamon*
- Nutmeg*
- Cloves*
*I didn’t specify the quantity of spices because everyone has different tastes, some people like it quite strong, others not so much. Have fun here and find what ratio tastes good to you!
Directions
- Add all of the ingredients into a high speed blender and process until smooth.
- Pour into your favourite festive glass and enjoy immediately!
