Holistic and Sports Nutrition Vegetarian nutrition Vancouver

My name is Tiara and I’ve recently decided to make holistic nutrition a second career!

I’ve always been an active person ever since I was a kid. I was a competitive figure skater, dancer, runner, and gymnast. However, when I entered high school, I decided to stop taking my extracirriculars (aside from gym class) and focus on my academics. While my academics got me into university and into my current career as a writer in the high tech industry, I feel as though this is not what I was meant to do or where I was meant to be.

My interest in health and nutrition started several years ago. I will be frank and admit, it wasn’t always a healthy interest (pun somewhat intended). I’ve struggled with an eating disorder for several years, iron deficiency anemia, eczema, electrolyte issues/dehydration from over-exercising, injury and generally feeling unwell/tired most of the time.

So a couple years ago I decided enough was enough and I decided I was sick and tired of being sick and tired all the time. I shifted my focus on figuring out what made me feel good. It’s been a lot of trial and error and I still struggle at times. So, that’s why I not only dip my toe in the world of holistic nutrition but to jump two feet in and become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist in hopes I can not only better myself but help those who are experiencing what I’ve experienced.

I look forward to keep learning, and to be continually inspired.

Wishing you all health and wellness!
