I spent the last twenty plus years raising a family and didn’t enter the workforce until my kids were all school age. A large part of my decision to be a full time mom came from the birth of my son who is Autistic. My focus was on my children, and diet and exercise wasn’t a priority. This slowly began to change about six years ago after a conversation I had with one of the nurses at my work. She suggested that maybe my allergies were related to a gluten intolerance. I had suffered from seasonal allergies and chronic headaches for years but had never had a problem with food.
I started cutting gluten out of my diet and over time found that I had to also give up dairy. After appointments with my physician and a Naturopath, I was diagnosed with IBS. My son and daughter were diagnosed with IBS as well. Figuring out what foods we could eat became an obsession and it was through that journey that I found NutraPhoria and discovered my passion for Holistic Nutrition! I also began exercising at a local gym and love how good I feel both physically and mentally.
I am loving the journey that I am on and am very excited to start helping other people change their lifestyle and live their best day every day!
