This journey into becoming a Holistic Nutrition Coach is years in the making. My name is Joyce and I’m a mom to 2 young very active kids. Besides being a full time mom, I’m also a Private Chef. I have been cooking professionally for over 20 years. Cooking for people has brought so much joy and fulfillment in my life and have been grateful for it. But being a chef also has its challenges. Working long hours, sometimes not stopping until the job is done took a toll on me.
Many years ago my health deteriorated and came to a conclusion I had chronic fatigue syndrome. Back then it was still a new concept and many doctors did not recognize it. But with the help of a very good Holistic Nutritionist my health came back to almost normal. After what happened to me I started to look into nutrition and eating better. Although I wasn’t ready to embark on a whole new career in nutrition I did enjoy cooking and plan meals for families who wanted to eat better, cleaner and healthier.
Now that I am a mom and not getting any younger, I decided this is the time to do what I wanted to do years ago and that is to become a Holistic Nutrition Coach, to help others plan healthier meals, help them feel better from the inside out. I’m so excited and can’t wait for my new journey to continue.
