My name is Megan, and I am an aspiring Holistic Nutritionist and Health Coach. I am also currently studying Psychology, and my main interest lies in the relationship between food and the brain, specifically how food impacts our mental well-being.
As a Type 1 Diabetic, nutrition has always been an important part of my life, but it wasn’t until I got to university that I realized I had to take even greater control of my health. In my third year of university, I began suffering from panic attacks, which became the initial spark for my interest in nutritional psychology. Since then, I have taken a holistic approach in curbing my panic attacks by eating cleanly and mindfully. Not only have my panic attacks diminished, but I have seen drastic improvements in my blood sugar numbers.
I hope to inspire, encourage and teach others about the power of whole and natural foods and how they can have a positive influence on our physical and mental health.
