Growing up on a small farm in Saskatchewan gave me the opportunity to experience real food, bare feet in the summer, and a close bond with the earth and every living thing that it provides. After all, our survival and health really did depend on ensuring we were able to provide nourishing food for ourselves. Back then I didn’t understand how incredibly important these things were, but now, as an adult living in the city I have often felt somewhat disconnected to those childhood feelings of knowing that the earth is our true provider.
I am so excited to be taking this course. More and more people are becoming increasingly detached from whole foods, earth and fresh air, and each other. With a focus on overall health and well being, I am hoping to offer an approach to better health that is enlightening and manageable by teaching a respect and love for organic and healthy foods as well as respect and love for ones self.
I am a mother of 3 grown (and of course, amazing) children 🙂 and live in Edmonton, AB. My favorite hobby is cooking, in fact I was responsible for making most of the family meals when I was 12 years old. I am currently the host of Dinner by the Minute Season 3. (find us on youtube) I have only just begun this new adventure – Episode 1 was released yesterday!
I wish everyone good health and happy studying.
Cheers, Minda
