I believe health is an ongoing, ever-changing, non-linear goal we must always give our love and attention to. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always paid close attention to my health. Whether that be through constant physical activity, adopting a vegetarian diet when I was 11, or developing a spiritual practice when I was 19- I have always felt passionately about health. I received a Bachelors in Public Health in 2017 and during my time at university I worked as a health educator and interned at a holistic healing center. I always knew I wanted to be working with holistic health but didn’t know how to start. The holistic nutrition and health coaching certification has opened my eyes to the endless possibilities in this field. This world needs to reevaluate our priorities concerning health and I believe health coaches have a unique opportunity to spread awareness and a message to those who do not value their health in the way they should. After completing the certification, I plan to explore Ayurveda and learn Ayurvedic nutritional practices to incorporate into my coaching programs. I am currently living in Thailand and plan to use my certification in Southeast Asia at retreat centers/holistic healing centers in the region.
