A diagnosis of High Cholesterol and a low to moderate risk of Stroke or Cardiac Disease, I took it upon myself to find a better way to control it than the Doctor Recommended Diet I had been following for over 20 years. Obviously it wasn’t working. I lost several pounds on my own through a proper diet and exercise, AND lowered my cholesterol to within normal limits in 3 months without the medication I was told I would be on for the rest of my life. As a result, I was bombarded with questions about “What pills did you take?” and “What program are you on?” I was amazed at the number of people who think weight loss is a magic pill or famous “program”.
As a result of the new me, I developed a love for all things healthy and a passion for healthy food and living.
