Golden Turmeric Ginger Balls

I absolutely love these Golden Turmeric Balls! I got the idea for this recipe one day when making my raw energy balls. Turmeric is so special to me I try to incorporate it into my day and into recipes as often as I can. Golden milk has long been one of my favourite healing drinks, so I decided I would combine two of my favourite recipes – raw energy balls and golden milk paste.

When you taste the sweet and spicy, nutty, goodness you feel like you are enjoying an indulgent treat. These golden balls actually have numerous health benefits. There’s hardly a system in the body that isn’t supported by turmeric and ginger. With the holidays around the corner this is a perfect treat to keep us healthy during the busy time of year.

Golden Turmeric Ginger Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 1/2 cup Dates (pitted)
  • 3 Tbs. Raw Honey
  • 2 Tbs. Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 Tbs. Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 Tbs. Ginger Powder
  • 2 Tsp. Cinnamon

Directions

  • Place almonds in food processor and blend into fine crumbs, but don’t over process.
  • Add date, honey, coconut oil, turmeric,  ginger, and cinnamon and process until dates are blended.
  • Form into balls and enjoy! I like to place them in an air tight container in the freezer, they taste ever better frozen!
