Holistic and Sports Nutrition Regina

I am a Mother of three, married for 28 years. Today I am currently working in a full time management position. Prior to that, I was a stay home mom for 20 years. Probably some of the best years of my life and at the same time the most challenging when it came to managing my weight and bringing balance into my life. I struggled with self- image issues for years. Always my worse critic.  Never satisfied with the shape of my body. It wasn’t until after I had my 3rd child at the age of 40 that I finally started to figure things out.  The reality is I’m not really sure what I can attribute the “eye opening revelation to” that helped me to finally take ownership of my life. However I’m thankful that it was enough to get my attention and help me to listen to the voice in my head that steered to me to where I am today. At the age of 54, never would I have believed that I would be taking an online course studying to become a Holistic Health Coach.  The truth is I never really understood food. I relied on other people to do that for me. Just give me a plan I’d say, something I can follow to get rid of this weight.  And guess what, ultimately, it would work. Inevitably the weight would come off. But in the end I would fall off course once again and gain it all back and some. My story is an all too common and familiar one shared by so many of us. It was then that I discovered my passion. The desire to get a better understanding of what causes an individual to quit and give up. This is why I’m taking this course. This is why I’m stretching myself beyond my comfort zone. I want to re- educate myself and in turn help others to living one’s life whole…
