Breakfast is an important start to the day. Eat within 1 hour of rising to ensure you metabolism is revved for the day and your blood sugar is level. When you eat is as important as what you eat.
These pancakes are beyond delicious, super healthy, and give you a nice ratio of carbs, protein and fat to fuel up the start to your day.
Ingredients:
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 Banana
- 3/4 Cup Uncooked Oats
- 1/4 Cup Ground Flax Seeds
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Melted Coconut Oil
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Vanilla Bean
- 6 Egg Whites
Place all ingredients except eggs in a food processor or high speed blender, and blend until smooth consistency. Pour into a bowl and add eggs, mixing until thoroughly combined.
Spoon mixture onto a griddle and cook on both sides of each pancake until browned.
Topping:
1/4 Cup Frozen Organic Blueberries
1/2 Cup Frozen Organic Strawberries
Place berries in a saucepan and heat up. Mash the berries until mixed and sauce like, and pour on top of the pancakes.
These pancakes are SO good, and will keep you full for hours!
Recipe should make around 6 pancakes.
