I first became fascinated with food and how it affects the mind and body when my son was diagnosed with allergies at a very young age. It affected all aspects of his life (and therefore mine), and as a mother, I felt frustrated and helpless. I recall being told that my fear that he may be allergic to dairy was “ridiculous” and that “all babies need milk”.
Through the years I studied ingredients, saw a naturopath who helped me understand the effects of certain ingredients on the mind and body, and learned to create foods on my own so he could thrive and not feel deprived.
All of this led me to want to study this field more in depth, to be able to help others along their journey. I do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach. I treat every body as an individual. I would love to help you along the way to finding the path better health!
