I have been an active person my whole life. It wasn’t until i graduated from school and went to another country (USA) that i got interested in nutrition. My life changed in so many ways, starting from cooking for myself. I start studying psychology at University of Miami, my world opened up to a variety of cultures with different eating habits that got me to think about how your eating patterns were so much related to your psychological state and surroundings. My passion became how and why we make food choices and how those tiny decisions affect your well-being in many different ways. I want to teach people how to eat properly, how to know your body signals and get in-tuned with them and how little decisions can make a huge difference in your life.
As a current PRE-K teacher I struggle every day with picky eaters, hyperactive behavior and lots of energy. That’s why I will like to teach parents the importance of giving their children the right food. I will like to teach how the food they eat affect their behavior and performance at school and the importance of creating good eating habits since childhood.
I believe that food is key on having a healthy mind and body
